    Re: Locking

Me neither - I'm just saying in general try and ease up a bit. It's not as heavy as CVD (left, family oriented) and not as free as beyond (right, partial anarchy), but I just felt it was slipping a bit to the left over the last few months.

Ok I'm done now. Looking forward to Dyno day!

When I moderate for one of my Toronto based groups we are told to yank anything that is either offensive or could be deemed offensive or has the potential to have a snowballing effect. Some people don't agree with what is being locked or yanked and other people applaud it... There is no way to make everyone happy. If an issue arises such as one about someones clutch that has already caused an issue and snowballed into something that it shouldnt have in the first post the subsequent posts are locked... Its like sticking a screwdriver in the breakerbox the day after you got electrocuted the first time...

I am quite sure that most people don't sign on to this site to fight and bicker... Sure the occasional drama is fun and entertaining but when it crosses a line I think the mods do a pretty good job of stepping in and locking/editing. Afterall, they aren't editing posts about someones puppy or locking/deleting threads because they don't like someones rims or hairstyle...

lol... I don't need to see the breast bug several times a month on TWO different forums. Anybody on here who wants that can easily go over to Beyond (I think most of us already have an account over there anyway).

The ottawa forums have rules...if you break the rules, your post is going to get locked. Pretty simple. Keeps the place mature!

Although, there's still the odd yahoo who likes to go buck wild and test how far they can go before mods have enough
