How come we can't just put whatever pictures as our avatars? If they are offensive then just send us an IM to change em up.

Anything come about this custom avatar thing?? I've got to snap a pic of my car when its clean some time, and would love to be unique!

EDIT: Wow, I found a GTI with Monte's on it.....I guess thats a consolation prize, would still like my own car.....

Hi Everyone,

As you may have noticed, we have a new avatar policy. We would like everyone to choose an avatar from the defaults, so that the board has a nice look-and-feel. This also avoids annoying, unsuitable, or offensive avatarts (Dale, I will always treasure the memmories).

The plan is for the admins to upload avatars to match the color and model of the car you really own. Those of us with exterior mods will have to live with the 'stock' image. Bart and I have already made avatars for all Mk4 Golf, Jetta and GTI colors (we think), plus the 20th GTI's and the 337.

If your car/color is not listed, please post your request here and we will add it to the list of available avatars.

So custom avatars are back up. I need you to respect a few things with respect to your avatars, first please no offensive items such as crude language or any nudity in the pictures. If I receive any complaints or deem it in appropriate I will ask you to change your avatar or I will remove it for you.

That being said I am sure we will not have any problems so please enjoy the updated site!
