Re: found some winters, input?
Not sure but seems a bit high?
Here's the rims for much cheaper, at that price you can buy new Blizzaks and have them mounted.

Re: found some winters, input?
I think $2k for a set of any curbed wheels is quite a bit, however keeping in mind the condition of the blizzaks its not a bad deal.
Do you plan on running the wheels in the winter?sigpic

Re: found some winters, input?
yea they are just going to be my winter setup. i figured to get new OEM RS4 wheels its about $650 a wheel without any blizzaks. so $2000 for sligthly damaged ones should be okay.
its crazy how expensive 19inch winters are. a set of 18inch OEM audi wheels is going for about $1000 with blizzaks on em

Re: found some winters, input?
Yeah only so many tire manufactures mess around with 19" winter wheels and hence the selection is limited the price goes up. Even harder finding 19" run-flat winter tiressigpic

Thats a bad attitude. 18s will perform better in the snow with a slimmer tire, thats the point of getting winters is it not?
My summers are 255/35/19. Winters are 235/40/18
Id rather have a safe drive than look good. And my 18s look good imo.

Re: found some winters, input?
Yup I will agree here. Summers in the Volvo are a 235/45/17 and the winters are a 215/45/17. Narrower is definitely better and cheaper, mine may have a slightly smaller diameter but I don't mind it, just gives me more clearance between the tires and fender guards.

If you prefer 18" awesome, but there's zero reason to scare a guy off of 19"s because they're unsafe.Last edited by theedge111; 12-04-2015, 11:23 PM.-Mike

i still feel like 255/40/19 would be okay to run on an rs4 though :S

Re: found some winters, input?
I think it's more about the tire being narrower...narrower winter tires perform better.
235's are better than a 255.--
