Hi Everyone,
A co-worker asked me the following question and I was not sure of the response. He has a 1993 Toyota Camry with 14 inch wheels/tires. They used to have a City Golf that had 15 inch winter tires/wheels. The car was written-off. He was wondering if he could use the 15 inch tires from the Golf and just buy some 15 inch wheels for the Camry. Here are the relevant sizes:
City Golf - 195/65/R15
Camry - 195/70/R14 or 205/65/R15 - Per Tirerack website
The sizing appears to be very close but is not perfect. The Golf has a 195/65/R15 tire and TireRack was recommending a 205/65/R15 tire.
Could this still work?
