reverse mounting BBS LM's

im tossing around the idea, of reversing the mount of the centers of my wheels.
my offset would change from +20 to +8

has anyone done this to their own wheels??

i think i may start and only do the rears.
my fronts poke out more than the rears, so maybe this will help
BUT
is there so much thing as too much poke?

Hmm… from the pic it looks like the back wheels are sitting about right and the fronts could come in a little. Nice wheels either way

Never did this with my LM's however I did remove the centers to have them powder coated. No need to remove the tires! Also, after being powder coated, I put the centers in the freezer for a few hours so they would shrink and fit in easier! Good luck!

please tell me you at least deflated your tires before you unbolted the centres....... if not, your barrels are most likely bent now and you are lucky to be alive.

Nice work.

Thought about doing this a while back but my rears poke + melt as it is. Reverse mounting would push them out another 15mm...arghh.

I have rebuilt LM's in reverse. I also once rebuilt the rears on the inside and machined the front edge of the front centers to match the rear barrels. You know, so they look the same. I could do that for you.
