I heard these are discontinued, is that correct? I suppose I could post elsewhere but why not go to the source?

Re: ALT Tangents.... Still Available?
I was thinking Rial Daytona Race or BBS LM's. I'm not so concerned what the internet community thinks as I will never see most of them, and that is what I told the vortex. I like mesh, I have liked mesh for years, it's just finding the right set, but I feel like i've narrowed it down to these two. I would probably get real LM's before replica's, after I did futher research.

Re: ALT Tangents.... Still Available?
Sorry man... I have been gone most of the holiday season and working on my own leaves me a bit overwhelmed at times... Not trying to make any excuses but I never intended on doing retail business... I was only going to do wholesale but all the retail has come to me so i am working on getting my head above water... Growing pains!!!
As for the ALT rims, could be a tough find for sure.

Re: ALT Tangents.... Still Available?
Hello again. I don't know if anyone will ever look at this thread again but it might be worth a shot. I have done some reading and searching and found these replicas are now called Miro 279's. I would love to buy LM's but im a broke arse university student and can't afford them right now, or if I were to curb one! No flaming please (dont worry I won't rock BBS/BB5 center caps!) I just need something that has the look and the cheap price without having to sell my soul to the devil to afford these wheels. As soon as I have a steady paycheck and can throw around a couple g's like puff daddy, I will buy the real deal.
Anyways long story short, can you or anyone you know find a set of Miro 279 or at least some BBS LM Replica's? I would rather give the business to a local/Canadian rather than buy from American + brutal shipping yadda yadda yadda
A tire/wheel combo would be ideal 18x 8 5x100 bolt pattern 2002 golf GTI
I apologize if I am asking the impossible or for something that is beyond, or below what you do. If you know of someone else who might be able to help just let me know.
Danke,
Paul

Re: ALT Tangents.... Still Available?
No complaints from me, they look great on my 328is. I got them from an american website: www.modbargains.com they have them for VW's in 18x8 for I think $699.00 USD (for all 4 wheels of course). Last time I checked they still shipped to Canada.
I just want spring/summer to come so I can roll my fenders, replace my rear trailing arm bushings and start driving my car again now that its lowered, lol!Last edited by Polar36; 01-22-2008, 04:07 PM.- Alex
