I just got my jetta 2.0 chipped by simon, and glad I did. Moderate increase in power in first and second, but the torque curve on top end is great. Might be able to put on that 1.8T badge soon..

Good stuff! Simon is probablly the best to deal with in Calgary with Chipping. Eutuning at its best! I've been there at least 7 times getting custom programming and Simon was always there willing to do it for me. Cant beat service like that.

Very glad that you are happy with this. I think the 2.0 gets too much bad press as far as performance and mods. We all know what the other engines are capable of but that doesn't mean people should not be happy with their 2.0s or even happier when they mod them

hey im looking to get this chip for my 2.0 aswell... how much did you pay and what kind of increases did you notice?...

I notice a bit of power increase in first and second gear. The best part is the torque in all gears, I am able to pass people so much easier. It is noticable in the higher revs, but I am very pleased in the overall performance.

Yeah sure, it was $415.00 plus tax. If you are a member simon gives you 10% off I believe. Never madd it to the first meet, have to get there for the next one though.
