  • Intake manifold cleaning

I'm going to be pulling the aluminum intake manifold off my BMW 335d for cleaning.
Are they any shops around that do hot tank/degreasing/blasting of manifolds? Which would be recommended for aluminum and what would this cost?

Or just soak it in a bucket then power wash it?

    Thanks

I am assuming you want to clean the carbon build up on the inside of the manifold? Is it aluminum or plastic? I thought the M57 had plastic manifolds?
