Hmmm. Not sure. People say they're not really worth it on a VR, since it rests right against the oil pan anyway so pressure will still crack it with a skid plate. What do you guys think?
Maybe I'll get one and get motor mount spacers too

on my 1.8t i cracked my oilpan with one of these skid plates but i was only running a DS motor mount spacer. Now that i have a hybrid pan and a reinforced plate i am not worried at all

on my 1.8t i cracked my oilpan with one of these skid plates but i was only running a DS motor mount spacer. Now that i have a hybrid pan and a reinforced plate i am not worried at all

I wish. No dice on a hybrid pan for a 24v, short of making one myself by modifying a 12v pan

Yo,

I'm in for one of these. Couldn't find the part # but this is the link >> "Skid Plate For Audi A4 1996-2008 & Audi A6 1998-2004(C5 Platform)" Hmmm wait a minute. I want sparks to fly though and aluminum doesn't spark, does it?? Nevermind then, I'd best get one anyhow, tranny sparks are NOT good lmao.
