  • Wtb vmaxx coilovers

As the title says, I'm planning on buying the VMAXX COILOVERS from Concept1. Wondering if anyone has them. How is the ride quality? Are they worth $599?
OR if anyone is selling a cupkit or coilovers please let me know. I hate my jetta MkIV how frikin high it is, i need to drop it ASAP as I am getting some rims and dont want that HUGE gap. I was planning on going with Springs, but not anymore ... I'd rather get the good stuff and enjoy my ride quality instead of bouncing around in springs lol.

I'm not sure about the VMAXX coilovers, I think quite few people on vortex use them
but my take on coilovers is "you get what you pay for"

        Re: Wtb vmaxx coilovers

people found out the spring rates on a b5 s4 were the same as stock so they were garbage

spend the extra 300-400 bucks and get a GOOD set

Ya, concept1 has a sale for some Konigsport coilover, much better then vmax. I think they are 1100. which is a good price. PLus if you have a membership(eurodrivers one) you get a discount.

why do you want coils? An H&R cup kit with Bilsteins are cheaper then konigsport and have a MUCH better ride. Not adjustable, but unless your trying to dump it, then coils are not worth it, well the cheaper ones at least........

Actually?! I thought you'd be pushing $1,200 with that combo. I should obviously look at a cup kit more seriously then.

I'll check tomorrow but as reference, my passat wagon combo retails for $12ish. a jetta will probably be in the $900-1050 range I would guess.
