Long out of warranty, window clips finally going - what's the bill to have both driver and passenger replaced?

Didn't think there was a warranty period on window clips, more of a "good will" type of thing. Go ask a dealer, its probably still free.

How do you know they are "going"? Usually its a bang, they are gone and the window drops into the door.

Goes halfway, then slightly falls off the rail and grinds up the rest. I've read both can happen, especially if only 1 clip breaks, or if one of the clips breaks in half.

100K, 2002 was the line they upgraded them. Heard dealers stopped goodwilling this long ago, but will call to check anyway.

If your persuasive then you can get 5th ave to pay for the clips and you just pay for the labour. Still better then paying for it all.

Fixed myself, couple hours and 60 bucks for both sides (will do pass next weekend maybe). Nicked my tint when the first clip broke though.
