I want my roof black???

Can anyone here help me out on what would be the best solution..

What I want is to have my roof on my MKVI CW GTI to be black glossy.

I don't really want to paint it, so then later if I want to sell it....

What's the best stuff out there that I can put on like some 3M stuff (DI-NOC)
or ??

But then if I sell the car, will it damage the paint when I take it off or ??

Vinyl is your best bet.
With patience, tis easy to install.

I'm not sure if Eurodrivers have a sponsor for vinyls but I get my vinyl over @ Victory Vinyls.

If your going to do it, spend some good money on high quality car vinyl, I did my roof black on my previous jetta and when I took it off it left all of the adhesive. I spent a night trying to get the adhesive off.

How much is that Di-Noc roughly cost?
Is it only matte? or I think glossy would be better wouldn't it ? or?

If you want glossy vinyl try a brand called Endura. The adhesive is in very small dots so it makes it way easier to appy and get all the air bubbles out.

the di-noc is $10sq/ft, it does only come in matte for the black......tough to say, the current theme is defiantly matte over gloss, but ultimately its up to you......

We did this one in 2 sections so there is a seam but it's beside the sunroof and barely noticable. Make sure to spray alot of water on the roof and on the vinyl as well.



Here you can see the adhesive on the endura brand vinyl. Notice how it's placed in small dots so it's much easier to get the air bubbles out:
