Debadging your Acura as a Honda is tacky but I disagree with what u said here. Next thing you know you'll say putting Porsche or Audi rims on a VW is tacky.

allright...

so you're putting porsche rims on a vw. Rims FROM a porsche, FOR a porsche and you "badge" them as VW rims. So this isn't tacky but putting a badge from a VW in europe onto a VW in NA is, eventhough the cars look identical?

I have nothing against putting porsche or audi rims on a dub, im all for it. My point is simply that de-badging your Jetta to a Bora is not tacky. I've got my opinion and you have yours and I'm not here to change yours.

Re-badging to BORA has been a longstanding mod to the Jetta since the MkIV was introduced. Re-badging is also common for all kinds of cars where models share a body style. Suck it up people and stop complaining.

i think i will just rebadge my jetta with 'phaeton' so people think i'm running a W12.
