  • De-Badging

I got a fancy new Bora badge for xmas
Its on already in place of the Jetta badge
I know it leaves a little glue on there after cleaning and all but the Bora covered most of it up
Now, what I want to do it take the 1.8T off the back
What should I use to remove the glue off of the back?

I think its called "goop off" or alternately "goof off", they sell it at Canadian Tire.

There are body erasers too, they do a fine job with less mess.

I thought Boras were only in europe?

Isnt this almost as bad or just as bad/tacky as acura drivers badging their cars as hondas?

and RSX drivers badging their cars as Integras?

                            I'll trade someone a 2.0T for a 1.8T badge....

                              Bora's are only in Europe.
I don't think its tacky plus if somebody was debadging their car like acura/honda, it'd be the equivalent of putting on "4 rings" on your VW.

If the "same" car is being sold overseas with a different name and you badge ur car as that, I don't see that as being tacky. What is tacky is an MKV Jetta with a Bora badge. (Yes I've seen that on car domain).
                              Got 5?
