Gti air bag?!

Mt gti has been sitting on my drive way for about 3 weeks. so last night i descide to start it up and take it for a drive and the air bag light is on. (picture of the little dude with the circle in his lap). Any one know what i need to do? if there is a way to reset it or anything like that? thanks~!

I dont think there is anything you can do without taking it to a dealer and getting it flashed or by someone with vag-com. George at Tunedub can probably help you out.

low voltage that explains why i got the airbag light on my car when i started it for the 1st time in a few months

No man, there is nothing really that you can do yourself. While we are on the subject, is it true that no airbags will deploy if the light is on?

not nessisarily true
they tell us to tell the customer it wont deploy but all the non malf.componant should still work . if its just a code for voltage then all the systems will work for that matter even if the ight is out dosent mean they will deploy when they should .....air bags are funny busness ....lol

depending on your loyalty to the dealerships,if it's just low voltage probable free.SCFC Paul checked and cleared my fault at no charge for a loose gas cap.
