City Golf/Jetta Sales

Does anyone know how well the City Golf/Jettas are selling? They have been on the market for a few months but I havent even seen a SINGLE one! (Unless the owners are smart and are removing the CITY and pretending to be standard Jetta's ).

Any Ideas as to the monthly sales? VW posts monthly sales by model but they dont distinguish between City Golf/GTI and City Jetta/Jetta 5 so it is sorta useless to me.

I think they are selling well but I actually have not noticed one on the road yet. Derek should be able to tell us.

I've seen a couple City Jetta's. I would think they are doing good but it is a slower time of year for dealerships.

I priced a Citi Jetta last night and was surprised at the 1600 pdi/freight/setup charge. Seems high, is that average or included with all VWs?

That is standard, getting high but that is all VWs I am pretty sure. It is even nearly 1,100 for freight and PDI on a scooter.

Hey fellas,
I don't have any concrete sales numbers to provide however I can tell you that there are no VW dealerships in the province that currently have any Golf city's available for immediate delivery. Jetta city's are a bit easier to obtain but not by much!! Having said that, I haven't seen too many on the road myself however unless you are really looking hard for that tiny badge on the back you probably won't notice its a city!!

It varies from dealer to dealer. I have seen it as low as $1195

Freind was looking at the Golf @SCFC and was told that they sell so well that the delivery would be spring 07

Yep I've been recommeding them to the co-workers/friends - too bad about the wait time.

The 15K price for the golf includes freight PDI which is good. I'm really considering a golf as a 2nd vehicle as well. I think it was 18 with all the safety/electrics.
