        **UPDATE**

After i figured out that my car was stolen i contacted the police and they called to see if my car was towed. They said "no car has come in with that description."

After an hour or so, i called in myself and was told that the car had just come in under this description.

So im glad everything turned out really good.

And thank you to whoever said they would look out for it.

        Cant say thanks enough.

I'm glad you got your car back! OF course now I have reason to do a little bragging as my company recently had a pretty big theft recovery last week. Watch the first news cast!

The company I work for made a similar product in the past, I believe mostly oil and gas companies buy them and thats about that majority of the users.

Back on topic, why did your car get towed?

              Re: Stolen Car: VW Golf

I didnt think the vw's could ever get stolen, but i was def in shock when i saw my car just not in the place where i left it some hours ago.
You work so hard for something and to have someone take it away from you so easily is def not the greatest feeling in the world.

The car had been towed to the Calgary Parking Authority.

The gpspolice thing is def a great idea, but after reading a bit on vortex it is highly impossible to steal a mk4. The only way this would be possible is if they took your ECU and VIN numbers and made a key just for your car. I will def think about installing a compustar alarm into my car, so i can have some protection if anyone touches it in the future.

Thank you all for the replies.
