I'm with bart on this. A half dozen hockey players can push a 737 on flat ground. The plane may be heavy but it doesn't have much rolling resistance (relatively).

Let's see them tow the 747 up a 2 degree incline.

Agreed, there are many vehicles that can pull a 747 on flat ground like every 3/4 ton or heavier pickup. But none of those vehicles are pulling the 747 up an incline, show me that then I'll be impressed.

Don't they pull them around the tarmac with smaller vehicles than a Touareg?

Well, I'm impressed....

Even though the A380 is a bigger plane than the 747, it's push back truck is 70 tonnes and has two diesel engines putting out 1200 hp.

So a Touareg pulling a 747? Pretty impressive.

that's super cool! just to make my point, this $80,000+ suv wasn't built for the sole purpose of towing sh!t. face it if you buy a reg or a cayenne you aren't going to be pulling stumps out of the ground. its a lexury suv and other vechiles in it's class couldn't do something like that.

That's the point - EVERY vehicle in its class could do it. My Jetta could do it.
