    Milltek...

    Anybody have a Milltek exhaust on their 1.8T?

    I'm curious how quiet it is. Really. I've heard it's quiet at idle, and sounds great at WOT...but what about just cruising around? Or hwy driving at 120km/hr? And hwy driving at 120km/hr up a gentle hill? Is there any drone?

      It's pretty quiet. I have milltek 2.5" cat back (got it direct from stratmosphere) and a 3" ATP style downpipe with no catalytic converter and it is very quiet with no drone at all. When you get on the gas it has a great sound, but quiet otherwise.

      When I originally got the car (2003 1.8T Jetta) it had a magnaflow muffler on the stock exhaust with stock downpipe and I had to get that piece of crap off my car. It droned like a mf and it was just too loud.
