The GF and I went in to SCFC last night with every intention of purchasing a City Golf. We meandered around the showroom while waiting for a preferred salesdude to finish up so I could talk to him (and hopefully score a better deal!).
Well this other older guy lumbers over to us while we are eyeing the new GTI gets right in my face and asks what he can do for us. I tell him I am waiting for other guy and he says he can help me. I say to him that we will wait for Dave and I turned away from him.
So for the next few minutes he keeps eyeing over his shoulder at us, following us and then goes to the little perch above the middle of the showroom and just glares at us. It was as though he thought I had shoved a Rabbit or a Passat under my coat and tried to make off with it. As soon as we walked out the door and got back in to our car, by co-incidence I am sure, he then is seen heading in to the stairwell.
Roughly 45 minutes after that we had completed the purchase of another car from a dealership up the street.
I decided to go to SCFC because my last service visit was good, and the last time I took a friend in there they were obliging about test drives and giving info and so forth (although they didn't have stock), however now y'all can kiss my keester when Passat time comes round.
I'll likely still go for service as things have been going well. I've told the body shop that I want my mechanical done there to fix the latest owie (ice+hill+telephone pole = $4,500).
