Stealership ECU flash

I was doing some daily reading on vwvortex and a bunch of them were commenting on how the dealership reflashes your ecu after you have blown your coilpack. Is this possible without removing the whole ecu?

Ohhh frig ... I was just reading it.... I definitely need a boost gauge to see if they fuxored me. I dont wanna be back at stock boost ...... noooooooo ..... never...... never! =*(

Damn... How long does it take to replace coils? when they did mine they took over an hour and i saw them at my car. Hmmm i pray im not back at 10 PSI.

I just emailed simon to ask if I could use his vagcom because we went out testing one day and it was giving out some funky numbers... but now I might have to get re-chipped =P hehe.
My anger for Northland VW is making me turn green.... im gonna rage!

I asked Simon if he had any new versions out for the tiptronic... i want something thats more aggresive.

Ohh yeah .... Peter I'm heading to get my 2.5" DP installed tommorow!!! FINALLY! Im picking it up from Volinder and going straight to concept1.

Hey Peter how long does it take to re-flash an ECU? I remeber the technician took it for a test drive AFTER the coilpacks were replaced and mentioned that it was chipped... and then started doing something with his big tablet pc hooked up to my car. Maybe they didnt reflash then... (HOPEFULLY)

I just said it was my new k&n air filter and the guy started laughing and left my car. But im not sure if he could reflash my ecu with just that tablet pc. I pray im not stock boosting... I cant really determine without any tools... DAMN.. simon where are you !! lol.
