I don't know which one is lighter but they should both be around the same weight and as far as pictures are concerned if somebody doesn't have one, you can always goto cms and use their software (you can lower the car in the software as well). I was playing around with that today but I am pretty sure you should be able to find pictures on cardomain. I think with the bodykit that you have, the BBC RC's would look better than the aristos.
    Got 5?

Both wheels look great, however aristo's are less common.

ps. I got a set for sale in the classifieds

I love the look of the Aristo's (always have), but from the two pictures posted, I'd go with the RC's....they look really good.

This thread: http://www.eurodrivers.ca/forums/showthread.php?t=9468 has pictures of both wheels (I think) on a silver GTI...and the Aristo's are for sale at the bottom.

Re: oz aristo vs. oem bbs rc

BBS RCs are one of the lightest wheels you can buy. They are around 19 pounds for 18s. My OZ records are considered light at 23 lbs each. Simon's B2s are 32 each. If Aristo's are off the 20th GTI they are 27 lbs.

So the Aristos will feel like you have 120 lbs in the trunk, more or less, and depending on tires.

RC's are lighter, but I believe more expensive then the aristo's. If you want to try on the RC's to see what they would look like I have a set in basement.

                              Aristos FTW!

You should pick up Duby T's Aristos while you have the chance! They would look super hot on your car.

Sidenote: someone was asking about whether or not VW made Aristos in 17's. No, they didn't. They did, however, come out with one that looked similar called Ariettas.
