    Re: I have EFI questions!

alright i've called and can't get a hold of anyone this morning.

i "repriced" it out and i was reading USD prices. so yea mitch it's around 1200 for the EM-4E which has ignition control as well as fuel injection control. personally that's what i would like so it's all taken care of in one package no fooling around.

SDS is a good choice for you guys since it is home grown for you guys! If you are still looking into ms though look into glens garage! I am not sure of the web site but he sells full packages that includes everything you will need to install it in your ride!!

              Re: I have EFI questions!

so i had another question about this stuff. do i need a "kit" that will control spark as well as fuel? or would just fuel suffice?

any way i talked to ross at sds today. very nice guy! he said depending on how many people were interested he could give us a discount of about 15-20% . the 3 systems i asked about were:
              em-4d (just fuel control)
              em-4e ( fuel and spark) $1163
em-4f (fuel and a dist. that comes with the kit) $1442

              these are the retail prices

                Wow 15-20 sounds sweet.
I think it would be easier to let SDS control both fuel and spark

                  Re: I have EFI questions!

Get fuel and spark, this way if you are going forced induction you can cahnge the map to retard under boost but stil be advanced enough that the car isnt sluggish off boost! Dont worry about geting one with a distributor, you can use a MSD or mallery box with your factory distributor and use the SDS to control them!
