No, you just spray in through the sides of the switches, there is no steering wheel removal needed. Just move the switches back and forth while spraying. Radio Shack, Canadian tire should carry this spray.

Active electronics or any electronics store (MRO etc) will carry contact cleaner. You will need to take the stalk abart more then likely to fix it but it is a hell of a lot cheaper then buying a new one. For parts like that unless the plastic is melted and the contacts are gone there is now way you should need to replace it from normal use.

Bought the contact cleaner....used it.....it worked. TO those who dont know what it is like me.....its rubbing alcohol. Took back the signal light switch to Vanee. They are not to take returns of "electrical" items. I personally think its a mechanical item. Mechanical item to activate the lights. Electrical when lights are working. Shop guy returned my money. I think if it was any other guy in there they wouldnt have taken it back.

Did they tell you that they wouldn't take it back when you bought it? If not they shouldn't have given you a hard time when you wanted to return it.
