Has anyone ever had this little annoyance? I can hear a certain sound near my passenger seat when I hit bumps (now that it's cold), and there's a rattle that sounds like...hmm (thinking of an analogy)...if you were to pull back on a springy piece of wood or wire and let it go. The sound continues for a while after a bump in the road, but fades out eventually...anyone know what I'm talking about and solved it? I've searched everywhere on that side of the car...

Re: Winter Noises!
So I did some investigative work today, and found that the annoying sound is coming from the passenger-side seatbelt latch. The bumps vibrate the free-standing latch, and there must be a small piece of something broken off inside that's rattling around. Any ideas on a fix for this? Can the latch be taken apart or maybe even replaced? Most annoying sound I've ever had in a car...'02 Jetta 1.8Tuuurbo
