When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.

Side skirts are off winter rims put on 3 days ago and planning to swap off the GLI lip and head lights before I take more stone chips this next week. Also need to tackle the coils abit to raise it. Cant wait for spring should have a couple more toys sorted out by then!!

Currently my car is in fugly mode. I miss the 18's already..... but the ride is alot nicer.

              Re: winter mode?

GLI front valence = REMOVED return back to stock
wheels off...clean them inside and out....put in bags...store nicely in basement (DO NOT STACK THEM ON TOP OF EACH OTHER IF YOUR TIRES ARE STRETCHED!! PUT CARDBOARD/CARPET OR SOMETHING IN BETWEEN EACH WHEEL)
              wax car
              clean interior, condition leather
              Enjoy!

                  Re: winter mode?

Snow forcast for Sunday, as are - temps. Summer tires should be removed when avg is below +8C or so anyway.

So this Sat will be hood/valence/wheel/grill swap, with the monster mats and probably the mud flaps going back on.

Wheel stand keeps the tires looking organised and not touching. I think the car is going to look odd with the Helix lights and not much else, but oh well.

I'm putting the winters on this Saturday as well. I also installed a lift kit from a 92 Dodge Ram to give me a little extra clearance.

winters/mudflaps for me to this weekend methinks. my summers dont have anything left on them, so i'd hate to get stuck in even a little snow.
