Buzzing noise driving me loopy!!!

It happens when i accelerate.... a buzzing sound comming from what sounds like the dash... (under the hood most likely) It lasts for a certain duration of time and then dissapears... Could it be rocks somewhere... or..... what? Very annoying and how do i fix this problem?

i noticed that when i have buzzing noises or rattles then potholes, curbs, anything which makes a big impact (literal) on your car usually makes them go away, but thats probably not the healthiest solution.
