That is good. I pulled 15.0@96 with a Revo'd GTI and horrible 60 foot times.

My worst was around 19.. Forgot to turn the damn traction control off.

Those are awsome times for a stock Gti.

In fact I don't think i have seen many run lower than mid 15s there.

What was your 60ft. I was racing that night and the Density Altitude was 4500ft which is pretty crappy. Go racing again when DA is 2800-3000 (it would have to be cold) and you'd hit 14s IMO.

Yes. I think the guy screwed you over and started the lights when you were reversing

I have done that before a few times. Next time when the second stage light goes out don't bother reversing. It's called a late stage and he'll late you go that way. As long as both are not out you're fine.

This is why i like the left lane. Never have that problem there.

With your 92 mph trap you'd keep pretty close to me from a roll. It shows you that drag racing is mostly in the launch. I never take off like that other than at the track. Its hard on the drivetrain.

Yeah i bet it is. 4wd? Yeah i noticed its the lunch take makes the whole time. Becuase on my bad launch i got 15.8 and 15.7 but still 90-91 mph. But with a good launch i got thr 15.1 with 92. i will have to look at my 60ft. I could work on my reaction time too. i beleve it was like .433 or something.

                          Re: 1/4 mile times!

my car is actually AWD. So it's a full time system.

Reaction time is nice the get down if you're racing someone but it doesn't count towards your total time.

Yeah some one was telling me that. I am curious what a turbo intake pipe and chip will do for my 1/4 mile.

probably quite a bit, im just guesing but between .5 and 1 seconds off maybe? turbo inlet pipe and chip will make a big difference
