Does the O2 sensor help with better fuel economy??? Where is the cheapest, does C1 install them? and sell them? I have bad fuel economy, half tank I get about 200 kms.

Could be o2, coils or MAF (most likely) - I'd just get the dealer to diag it since you're probably still in warranty?

yes i drive like miss daisy.... the maf was just changed.. sean said change the o2... so......i think i will buy one but where?where do I get discounts...dealerships???Comment

Your O2 sensor should be ok, unless you are getting check engine lights or other fault codes.
I get about 240 km on 1/2 a tank, so 200km sounds right around normal to me.Bryce

i get 600km per tank on my 1.8t which isn't fully broken yet with only 5200km on the odo..Comment

Ryan you must REALLY drive easy to get that good of mileage... personally I have that lead foot problem 1.8Trip mentioned above.KR

600km/tank is easy if you're talking highway (that's around 30mpg). Driving at the track, I managed to get 14mpg with a 1.8T.
