Timing Belt Tools

So I have ordered a delux timing belt kit w/water pump for my 1999 Jetta TDI and I'm looking for someone in the Lethbridge or Calgary area who has the tools I can rent or borrow. Then I guess I need to have the timing checked or adjusted with a VAG-COM? I am a journeyman mechanic that is no longer in the trade so your tools will be respected and returned to you in the same condition as you sent them. I think that $300+ for tools I will use once every 5 years is a little steep.
BTW I also would like to find some 16" or 17" wheels with good rubber. I will consider factory wheels as well.

I don't know of anyone in the area that has the tools. I have thought of buying them and renting them out since both my cars will need it done in the next year but haven't done so yet. Check around on the TDIclub I am sure someone might ship them to you.
