Can't say I have seen that one before, does it pipe in right after the fuel filter?

no idea, i dont know what the underneath of a golf looks like, i bought first and planning on asking questions later. hopefully i just cut out a section in the lines and put this in.
in the winter, would the fuel get too cold? diesel doesnt like too cold...
well it wont freeze if thats what you mean... fuel pump is metal too, does it freeze inside when its parked all day out in -30C? or fuel injector lines for that matter...
Get one of the CAT fuel filter adapters and cap the return that goes into the filter or just buy one of the new filter T's that caps the input and pipes it right back to the tank, that way you are not dropping hot fuel back into the filter.

yeah, was wondering about that. by default, that filter system adds a lot of heat to the fuel.

It does that to stop the fuel from gelling which really helps in our cold climates.
I will be interested to see the gains from this.

cmon I know you! You are planning to put a CPU heatsink and fan on the fuel fump... hmmm idea? lol
I thought of this too, they have those liquid-cooled setups for computers now that come with big water-block heat sinks... just put one of those inline? They are made to cool much hotter liquids though...
Naa you would never be able to lap the fuel pump enough to get a good heat transfer

morons, why would you want to cool diesel fuel you want it as hot as possible
to vaporize as quickly as possible.its not gas (you want more air) not cooler
diesel fuel this will do nothing to enhance performance but in winter get your
AMA card out for towing.DUMBASSES.
