Hey guys and gals,
So on friday I had my tranny die, so I paid alot extra to get it rushed to be ready for this weekend. Thought all was well.
I had a fire under my dashboard today! Had to put it out with my hands.. that was fun.. HOORAY!
Ok I have found the source of the problem, my gauge cluster wiring has caught on fire and melted, now all the bare wire is touching each other in this clump. Any ideas on what caused this and how I can fix it? I think my gauge cluster is fine. I took it apart and didnt see anything wrong with it. I think its a short in the fuse panel. Or I need to run another ground wire back to the battery.
Any ideas?
Heres the melted gauge cluster wire.
Here is a big mess...
Does anyone have a site that shows the corrado recalls? Or does anyone have a list as to what slot gets what amperage of fuse and whatnot? because I dont think there should be any 45 amp fuses in the fuse panel... damn the previous owners!
