  • Golf CL

OK guys, A friend of mine is looking into buying a 1993 VW golf CL. Its 200,000 2 DR and its 5 speed with cloth. It has A/C and A sunroof, but no power windows or locks. The guy that has it "for sale" siad to look up a price and offer him that, What would be a good price for her to offer? Its Teal and its in Calgary. Good body, little bit of rust underneath, And it has hub caps.

    Thanks for your Help

    Re: Golf CL

Depending on the amount of rust and overall quality i'd say $3500 at the most. I paid $5k for my 94 gti back in may in Regina last year. only had 160k km, surnoof, cloth, and was in fairly good shape.

      Re: Golf CL

Closest I can find in Canada Black book is the following:

      97 Golf CL
      Manual Transmission
      200000km
      Air
      Sunroof

Low of $1210, high of $2035. This is of course what a dealership is likely to offer you on a trade.
