    Re: Cylinder Heads

I'm not to sure, I doubt there is anyone local that would have much of an idea of how to do a vw head, I would look towards Vancouver, or Toronto to get it done. however if you want to buy a spare aba 8v head off of a gti, to avoid the down time let me know I might just have one for sale....

Bro, we use Built Rite. They are slow but awesome! I still say you should do a VR6 swap.

Alberta Chrome does as well. They are a machine shop, but there's a guy there (or at least who used to be) that's worked on VW's for the last 35 years.

The guy at alberta chrome has passed as far as I know. I doubt I would trust a port and polish to anyone in town. If you need a stock rebuild built rite is good.

Yes, unfortunately, Heinze passed away a few years ago. The company was resumed by his shop manager. I'll be doing some work with them in coming months. We'll see how it goes.

Try Tom at Techworks I would say that if you could trust anyone to do custom internal modifications it would be him. Usually quite busy though!

Tom at techworks has quite a reputation for amazing porting. they specialize in multi valve heads, but I am sure they could do any head.
