  • Official Dyno Day Numbers Thread

Great turn out today! Was a ton-o-fun. I'll be posting the pics once my battery has recharged and I can download them from my camera, but in the meantime, please use this thread to post your numbers.

    I'll start.

    At the wheels - 161 hp, 217 lb/ft torque

    Using Tecmotion's formula for converting to crank horsepower (# divided by 0.75) - 215hp, 289 lb/ft torque.

My car was to powerful for the dyno so I was not able to get an accurate run

Actually, it was to low. It would either drag the transmission cross member on the roller or it would be shimmed to high therefor allowing the wheels to break loose when the car hit boost.

                    173.3 hp / 211.6 tq

Down 5hp but up 13.4 tq from last year - only change was a new OEM dv and I was on my 18s instead of the avus 15s. Pretty consistant. Thx for the good day!

Re: Official Dyno Day Numbers Thread

I had the same issue with the mustang dyno. The car was too low. The cars sit so low on the rollers that you have to strap it down lightly to keep the oil pan off the rollers. Then I had trouble getting accurate hp #'s because the tires would spin as soon as the car came on boost. If your car is too low, it will work much better on a dynojet. You ride up nice and high on the single roller.

Hey Kyron does a exhaust really make that much of a difference that is over 10hsp difference just because of an exhaust or else something is not right on my car.

Maybe not 10-14, but they do give gains. Your numbers are almost identical to Chris' car so I don't think you have anything wrong. Plus I'm running the 93 program on 94 - a few small gains there too.
