      Re: Clutch Help!!

      Mk4's use a dual-mass clutch

      Dual-mass = $$$$$$$$$$

You can get nice aftermarket ones for alot less than OEM, but they are not dual mass, and thus will make your tranny sound a bit 'ghetto / tractor / diesel / rattley' ish.

        Re: Clutch Help!!

I just bought a clutch kit 4 my audi and if u get a haynes manual and u can turn a wrench it only takes a few hours. I paid about 300 for parts. so it wasnt 2 bad and Most likely ur not gonna need a new flywheel just get them 2 either machine it or grind it. grinding is the better of the 2 but machining works ok as well. u'll probably all hate me 4 it but I work at a Ford dealership in edmonton and if u can change the clutch ur self the grinding should only cost about 30 bucks
