Wheel Help!

Some one at my work is selling some 18'' rims. I was curious if any one knew if these would fit?

18" wheels and tires - fits 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX bolt pattern. 225/40 18


Would 18'' look bad if my car is not lowered?

I believe the WRX bolt pattern is the same (5x100) as the MK4 VWs however the difference is the offset. I think the WRX will probably be around 50 while for you it should be around 30-35 so too properly fit you may need to run 15-20mm spacers, but probably best to test fit before you buy

How much will spacers cost me? What is your opinion on the wheels? Will it look dumb on a NON lowered Mk4 Gti

Any opinions? The guy is offering the 4 rims with tires for 600.

Well that price is not bad, depending on the condition and how much rubber left. The wheels are not bad not a huge fan of the multiple holes in the center but could be worse. I think you would be looking at a couple hundred for spacers and yes the car might look funny with out being lowered, my thoughts anyway!

Rims aren't bad, but yes, you'll definately need spacers. IMO cars look retarded with big rims and no drop. Put the $600 plus $150 for spacers towards coils or a cup kit....your car will look better lowered on stock rims than 4x4'in on 18's
