Re: vibrations!!
just wondering what he is supposed to be looking for?
I can't read your mind, but are you thinking loose bolts...then again he just switched wheels so they should be tight.
Thanks

edit:
well I'll try and give a suggestion also...
check wheels for mud buildup on the inside, if they are clean, get them checked for balance. sometimes weights fall off.Last edited by Satnam; 07-13-2006, 10:24 PM.put.......put.......

Re: vibrations!!
Key word: should. The bolts can loosen up after a couple days driving if they where not torqued down right. I think that more then likely it is a wheel out of balance though.Name: Brent

Re: vibrations!!
Kinda OT but I hope you don't still tighten your wheel bolts like crazy.
I remember last year at Fahrfromhome you got a flat or something and from when you were changing the tire I actually saw you JUMP on the tire wrench to tighten your bolts EXTREMELY tight. That is just plain wrong and you are doing more damage than good.

Re: vibrations!!
ok guys figured out what was wrong.. at first the vibrations were minor.. due to an inbalanced tire.... then i switched the wheels around and the wheel i put on from the back made it worse also due to balancing, i dont understand how they can be off now, i just got them balanced before the end of last summer season... so i threw on my winter rims and bam no more vibration thanks for all the input!! cheers
