VW has unveiled the Polo GTI Cup Edition and I really wish we could have this car here as I would love one!!

Anyway here are the specs and pics!!

Volkswagen has launched a new special edition Polo GTI in Germany. The car has 180 horsepower, a 0-60 mph time of 7.5 seconds, and a top speed of 139 mph. The 1.8 liter engine has a maximum torque of 173 lbs-ft, readily available at 2000 rpm. The car also gets a special roof spoiler, side skirts, 17-inch alloy wheels, and upgraded brakes. It costs 3,000 euros more than the regular GTI.he interior is unchanged from the regular GTI. The interior is unchanged from the regular GTI.

As much as I love the new mk5 GTI's, I'd rock a Polo GTI over one in a second

I would also take a polo over my GTI (or a new one!).....its beyond me, especially with VW's new attitude towards smaller, economical, affordable cars, we should get this....

Latest Evo said that the Polo GTi was nowhere near as good to drive as the Golf GTi, maybe this has some extra polishing on the handling to get them closer.
