I made an impulse buy (because that's what I do) on a set of wheels for the Jetta (2004 TDI), and now I'm questioning if they're going to rub or not.
This is what I know. They are 16", have 5" backspace (same as stock wheels) but are 6.5" wide, I've calculated the offset at ET32. I bolted one on the front and it's pretty close to the fender.
I do plan on lowering the car very slightly when I put the wheels on next spring but only about an 1.5" or so. I've done alot of reading and I think I'll be ok but I know very little about fitting aftermarket wheels and this is not a common setup by far. Before I do powdercoat and tires I'd like to see what everyone thinks.
Thanks guys!
Shane
