  • Exhaust!!

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows what the best exhaust system would be for a 92 jetta, and what it would cost. or even just where i can go to get it done. i want a really loud muffler, powerful and deep sounding, but i dont really know where to look.

if you want a really loud deep sound put on a cherry bomb and make the last 2or 3 feet of ur pipe about 4 inches in diameter, will get the jobdone

hah no such thing as a cavalier sounding 'good' (well, maybe the 3.1's but not a 4cyl)..esp with a truck exhaust

so im not gunna go to calgary to get my exhaust done haha
is it true u need a certain amount of backflow from ur exhaust
which is why u shouldnt get too big of pipe

If turbo no back pressure needed. If NA then yes.

Cheapest I've found the catback for my mk3 was from qmr motorsports out of Ontario. $500 plus $40 shipping.. then installation by minute muffler back home in Regina $50. check em out, www.qmrmotorsports.com The best price i could find for the same thing back in Regina was about $750 plus install, no idea about out here though. I think theyve got the same price for all the generations but one.
