How much rubbing is to much?

As a few people will remember from last summer I picked up a set of Porsche 911 (933?) Cup 2 Rims:

17x9 et 55
17x7 et 55
spacers
25 or 30mm.

I have rolled my fenders and I am still getting some mad rubbing in the back of the car like a fat kid in corduroy on a hot summer day. I have been cutting (well maybe shaving would be a better word) the tire wall for the past few weeks now and am starting to worry a little... how much rubbing is to much rubbing?


As much as I am love them I am sort of thinking of selling them

i do all the time but if it looks good who cares

but safety 1st...i just keep a close eye on my side walls
