Buying used

I am currently working out the details on buying a used car. Back in BC I was able to get a gift form, and have the person gift the vehicle to me to save on tax. Is there anyway to do that in Alberta?

If its a private sale in Alberta there is no taxes anyway, does that help?

When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.
