  • Wheel advice....

Need your opinions on this one. I've got a buyer for my 301's. The only way I would sell them however is if I could get these....

They are 16x8 and 16x9. They are quite rare and look oh so good. I would be forced to roll my fenders which I really didn't want to do. By selling my 301's and buying these I could make about $600 over and above. Would you guys do this or not. I'm totally torn as I love my 301's but they are such a ***** to clean and I really like the wide, dish look!

    Current 301's for comparison...

Let me know what you think!
    Cheers

Wow, I'd be torn too. Meaty or classy? hmmm I'd have to go classy (current wheels) ask me again tomorrow or even in an hour and I am sure it could change. Good luck and I hope you get some more polar opinions

wow i think u should do it, their nice wheels, getting the new wheels would make you stand out more since alot of people roll on BBS's these days but the new ones are way more rare and not that many people have them.

Damn you guys, you're not making this easy now. I'm truly torn. These S1's have adapters that make the final offset 28 front 25 rear. Dayle do you know what the offset is on your Keskins? Also, your fenders are just rolled correct? I'm just wondering what I would really need to do to run these properly other than rolling the fenders!
                Confused as hell......

                  Re: Wheel advice....

The guy in Vancouver wants $3000 firm for them. I'm hoping if possible I could get them for $3000 shipped. If thats the case I make $600 as I have an offer of $3600 plus shipping!
I'm actually losing a bit of $$$ as I paid a little more for the 301's than I probably should have but I'd wanted them for so long. Oh well!

                        Re: Wheel advice....

im running 25 front 15 rear on rolled/cut fenders

the fronts on the 8's with et 28 should work for you but id get 10mm spacers for the rears to bring them out to a et15 to give that extra poke in the rear

depending on ride hieght and rubber size you should be fine with just rolled fenders

                          Re: Wheel advice....

                          Cool thanks Dayle,
The tire size up front are 195/40's and 215/35's in the rear I believe. I don't think I can do 10mm spacers as there are already adapters switching from 5x112 to 5x100. I think I would need thicker adapters no?
Anyways, I might be getting totally ahead of myself as the guy still hasn't really let me know if I can buy them yet!

Sell BBS asap for those. The RS's are a totally classy wheel....but the other wheels look crazy hot.
