In my opinion, most front mounts on the market look like poo on GTI's. The only front mount I find attractive is the neuspeed piece. However, the nuespeed piece is not the greatest in regards to performance.

I like my dub to be clean and subtle. As a result, a side mount is a very good option for someone like myself. Not everyone wants a huge FMIC.

I know not everyone wants a huge FMIC, but you're the only one I know that doesn't want one, hence my reason for asking.
The benefits of the FMIC are that it has a lot of cooler air hitting it. Are there any bodykits available that have a duct leading to the SMIC area? That would go a long way to addressing any performance issues, although that type of thing might not fall into the subtle category depending on how it's done.

I like the looks of FMICs, i think they are pretty sharp, but I'm more of a sleeper guy myself and wouldn't want to scare anyone off with a FMIC...

You could always paint it black, or put your lower vents back in. I could put mine back in if I wanted to (with a little trimming) but I like how the FMIC looks.
