  • Where to buy tires for cheap?

I need some new tires. Mine don't seem to have any tread left. I'd like to stick to Pilot Sports, but the best price I can find is $210 per tire.

Does anyone have a good source for tires?

Is Anand still about these days?

    Looking for 225/40/18

Anand is still around, they are really busy. My buddy works there at MyTires now. Give em a call.

Mytires.ca has wicked techs but they are brutal for scheduling/returning phone calls. The chaos is not worth the small savings IMO, at least until they get a decent receptionist/sales staff.

Tunerworks did well for my wheels and tires - I didn't use Bob only because he didn't carry the brand I wanted.

I picked up my winters from Tiretrends and their customer service was excellent, but Smart winters are a lot cheaper

For what its worth, I would check out the Tirerack.com. With our exchange rate at all time highs, buying from the U.S. often offers significant savings.
I bought 4 235/40 18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Gs-D3s a couple weeks ago and got them delivered to my house in one week (same or faster than local shops said they could get them in from Toronto), and saved a little over $400 total after having them installed from what a couple Fountain tire stores were qouting me.

Screw pilot sports, way to expensive, for a decent tire. There is wayyyy better bang for the buck out there. Michelin's are a fantastic tire just not worth the money.

Since buying a RWD car i'll probably go through a set a summer so no point in spending to much money.
