Hi guys i always wondered about this question, people with standard cars that lets say there parked on a hill or slight incline, they keep rolling thier cars up and then down and back up again..isnt that riding the clutch?? if not how can it be done properly to avoid riding the clutch? thanks

    Re: rolling

It's stupid, and wears the clutch. Hold the brake until the light is green.

You can also hold the E brake to help a bit not that I do but I have tried more so when I was trying to get use to standard. Rolling back and forth is just a waste of clutch!

It's also a great way for beginers with the standard to help them feel out the cluch and to pratice. But yea it will wreck the clutch more quickly
