  • VAG-COM Cable and V-Tune

It seems just as I want to do some experimenting with my APR chip something goes wrong as usual. I connect my Mono-USB cable to my computer and car and the light goes green as it should. I open VAG-COM scan, everything works fine. Next I close VAG-COM open up V-Tune and get connected but then it losses connection and the light goes red. I jimmy the OBD port and get the light to go green, I try connecting again, BAM Red light "LOST CONNECTION WITH ECU". I tried this over and over again and almost went insane. I am thinking it seems like a loose wire inside the cable.

Has anyone else had this kind of problem?

if you are using a adaptation option that requires a login, you might have to turn the car of for a few minutes before you login again, or if you enter a wrong login, it locks you out until you shut off the car for a bit.

I don't think I am using an adaptation as I don't enter a login at any time.

My keycom hasn't given me any weirdness like that.

Ya I dunno, it was working fine last year and it has just been stored in my closet so I have no idea what is wrong. Does Sensolutions offer any warranty or service?
