    Re: 1.8T & VR6 mileage question

I get roughly 25mpg with a 1.8t 5speed, I drive the snot out of it and get that kind of millage. That includes highway, back roads, city, autobahn, Nurburgring, and autocross. I actualy get a little less when I autocross.

I think 1.8T will probably net better mileage especially on highway, but the sound and instant power of a (24V) VR6 will seduce you. It's such a nice engine. So if you test drive, try and stay focused!!

As an update, my latest mileage tracking is average 29.5 MPG / 10.51 km/L

EDIT: just noticed, nothing has changed from before!

Another update, I've done four trips lately and every one of them was 9.2 or 9.3 l/100km in a 24V VR6...
