Mobil 1 0-40

Hi all,

Has anyone ever been able to find Mobil 1 0-40 in Calgary? I am hitting 8k today and would like to get my first change done with it.

I check Cdn Tire and Wal-Mart and they don't have it. Neither does Part Source, Napa or Auto Value.

Any leads?

dude I posted on this a bit ago. I dunno if we want to run 0-40 here. I know alot of people on vortex like it but after talking to techs and stuff they said it will make our cars run like ****..

and yes you can buy it from south centre here for friggin 14 bucks/litre.. when I do my 8k I think I might use the Dealers Castrol syntec 5-40.. I dunno try the mobil 1 and tell me how it is.. its just so damn expensive from south centre when regular mobil 1 is 26bucks/5litres

I actually just found some... I called around some more and you can get it from the Esso Bulk distributor off Barlow in boxes of 6 bottles for $41.88 - that's about 7 bucks each.

Who was it that told you it make 1.8Ts run poorly? I know guys that have been running it for 100k with no issues.

you mean by the big bucket there? damnit i drive by there all the time when I go out to my jobsite (when crap happens) doh I'm gonna stop by on friday.. some dumb ***** at south centre told me but she didn't have a clue what she was talking about.. i dunno try it out man.. there are millions using it on vortex so give it a go and let us know you can always switch to 5-40 or 5-30 so...

It's at 9906 Barlow Trail - haven't been by there in a while so I don't know how close it is to the Big Bucket. Their hours are only 7:30 to 4:30 Monday - Friday though.
